The church carries forward the work of Jesus Christ under the lead of the befriending spirit and this mission is expressed in various ways. All ministries engaging members of the congregation are ecclesial, that is, they are the work of God as discerned by the Church, and it is on behalf of the Church that each Sister of Charity ministers. The following ministries are more directly ecclesial as they are exercised under the direction and within the structures of, the Church authorities.
