Crucifix, cast iron. Name, date and location of manufacture unknown.
This Crucifix is one of the objects preserved in the Archives which was presented by the Foundress,
Mary Aikenhead, to the five pioneer Sisters as they set sail from Ireland to found the Sisters of Charity
mission in New South Wales in 1838. |
