A real time pilgrimage to Ireland was one of the features of the co-operation between the Sisters of Charity of Australia and Mary Aikenhead Ministries.
Plans were already underway to revitalise the way in which pilgrimages were done. Then, the first COVID-19 outbreak struck, adding a certain urgency to the project. And so, the virtual pilgrimage was created.
