Heritage Centre
PrintThe key objective of the Heritage Centre is to be a welcoming and warm story-telling place which connects visitors to the history and charism of the Sisters of Charity of Australia, exemplifying their significant contribution and achievements since the landing of the first five Sisters in Sydney, Australia, in 1838.
Through a display of the history of the Congregation and the ministries of the Sisters, the Heritage Centre informs visitors about every aspect of the Sisters’ service to the community, particularly the poor, impelled by the love of Christ.
It will challenge visitors equally to carry this spirit into their everyday lives.
